SBL download area

SBL has been working on a wide spectrum of research areas and has developed different materials, which could also be useful for other researchers with similar interests.  Many researchers have requested our software and experimental results for the purpose of education and scientific research.  Therefore, we provide some of these highly-requested materials, e.g. electrokinetic movie clips and single molecule visualization, in our website for download.

SBL movies

Electrokinetic separation of cancer cells in buffy coat

CancerinBuffyCoat-5fps

Hybrid electrokinetic concentration

EK-focusing-5fps

Electrothermal flow for electrochemical sensor enhancement

ACEF-short-4sec-small-7fps

AC Electrokinetic mixing of conductivity fluid (~1 S/m)

mixing-4fps-smaller

Hybrid electrokinetic concentration of quantum dots

Education

To introduce the general public about the development of bio-nano-technologies, SBL will develop and maintain a web-based tutorial and exhibits.  Also a download area is also available for downloading SBL materials for education and classroom teaching purpose.

Equipment & Software

Overview of SBL equipment, facilities, and software will be available soon.

Opportunities

We are looking for talented undergraduates with a passion for research. Currently, we have a few projects available. If interested in joining our lab, please contact Dr. Wong with: your name, major, year, and resume.
